Talc resources are very rich in many countries. The main distributions as follows:
The lamellar talc is distributed in Haicheng and Guangxi in China, Jaipur in India, Mount Seabrook in Australia, Luzenac in France and Pinerlo in Italy .
The compactly structured talc rarely locates in Europe ,such as Germany and Spain, the main is in Australia. Pyrenees in France and the Alps in Italy mainly produce cosmetic and pharmaceutical talc. In Europe, the important producers and exporters are Austria, France, Italy, and Norway.
Canada is a small producer with an average production of 23,000 tonnes annually from Ontario and Quebec. Five provinces of Brazil, namely, Bahia, Mines Gerais, Parna, Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo are all a small manufacturer of talc.
